This guide provides information on using the Rover Retriever client. Refer to the sections below for additional information on:

Rover Retriever connects your mobile device to one or more Rover Gateways. The first time you start Rover Retriever you will need to add your Rover Gateways to the site list. Your Rover Gateway admin will need to provide the access code and user credentials needed to login to your Rover Gateways. The credentials will be your user name and a password. It is possible to configure the Rover Gateway to user your Windows password or define a new Rover password. If you have not received credentials, contact your Rover Gateway admin to receive your credentials.
Once you have your credentials you can add a gateway to your site list. Refer to the appropriate section below for instructions on adding a Rover Gateway based on the mobile device you are using.
iOS devices include:
iOS devices allow sites to be added and deleted using the touch screen. From the 'Sites' page select the '+' button in the upper right section of the screen. You will be prompted to enter your access code, Email address and Password provided by your Rover Gateway admin. Once you enter these credentials the Rover Gateway matching the access code and your credentials will be added to your Site list. If any Rover Gateways matching your credentials are not running you will receive a message letting you know the gateway is not currently available.
Android devices include:
Android devices allow sites to be added and deleted using the 'Menu' physical button. Select 'Add Site' from the 'Menu' physical button. You will be prompted to enter your access code, Email address and Password provided by your Rover Gateway admin. Once you enter these credentials the Rover Gateway matching the access code and your credentials will be added to your Site list. If any Rover Gateways matching your credentials are not running you will receive a message letting you know the gateway is not currently available.
Once you have added a gateway to your site list, refer to the appropriate section below for instructions on removing a Rover Gateway from your site list.

iOS devices allow sites to be deleted using the touch screen. From the 'Sites' page swipe the Rover Gateway site name you want to delete. Select "Delete" to confirm the deletion.
Android devices include:
Android devices allow sites to be deleted using the touch screen. From the 'Sites' page select and hold the Rover Gateway site name you want to delete. Select "Delete" to confirm the deletion.
Rover Retriever can be configured to require a passcode every time you launch the app. Refer to the appropriate section below for instructions on requiring a passcode on the mobile device you are using.
iOS devices allow Passcode to be set using the touch screen. From the 'Sites' page select the 'lock' button in the lower left section of the screen. Select 'Turn Passcode On'. You will be prompted to enter a passcode twice to confirm your passcode. Once you enter a passcode you will be required to enter this passcode every time you launch the Rover Retriever app.
Android devices allow the Passcode to be set using the 'Menu' physical button. From the 'Sites' page select the 'Menu' button then select 'Settings'. Select 'Create Passcode. You will be prompted to enter a passcode twice to confirm your passcode. Once you enter a passcode you will be required to enter this passcode every time you launch the Rover Retriever app.
You may need to contact the Gateway admin if you are having any problems connecting to the gateway. If your gateway admin setup their contact information on the gateway you can contact the admin from the site list.
From the 'Sites' page select the blue chevron to the right of your gateway name. The page will flip to show the "back of page" information about how to contact your gateway admin.
The gateway admin support page is not currently available on the Android client.
